The Willing Healing Jesus – Part 3

Faith is what gives direction to the power of God. Faith takes what God has made available. This is how we receive the healing power of Jesus into our sick bodies. What God is willing to give, man must be equally willing to receive by faith. It is not so much about the willingness of God as it about the readiness of man.

God’s power will always flow in the direction of anyone who truly believes. Smith Wigglesworth used to say it this way “There is something about believing God that will make Him pass a million people to get to you” This was seen evidently in the record of the healing of that woman with an issue of blood.

“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague” (Mk. 5:25-34).

This woman had been sick for twelve years. She had looked in different directions for a lasting solution to her illness. Rather, the situation became more complicated. But something changed when she heard about Jesus. What did she hear about Jesus? That He was a willing, healing Jesus. She heard that He was healing the sick everywhere He went. She believed she could be healed also. She kept speaking to herself even in that condition of weakness “if I can only touch his clothes, I shall be made whole” You see, faith always speaks! Faith speaks the end result in the midst of contrary evidences. This was the mindset with which she touched Jesus. She didn’t wait for Jesus to touch her, she touched Jesus. She placed a demand on the ability of Jesus. And as soon as she did, she felt in her body that she had been healed. The flow of blood stopped! Whenever faith turns on the power of God, the power of God turns off the fountain of sickness. Jesus knew something had happened. Another healing had taken place. Jesus asked “Who touched me?” It wasn’t the woman, it was her faith! Jesus told her “Thy faith hath made thee whole”

Faith is a mindset of victory. Faith is a confession of realities and not mere physical facts. It was a fact that she had been sick, it was a physical fact that she had spent money on physicians but her condition rather grew worse. She didn’t confess those facts. She confessed what she wanted i.e. her physical healing. Stop speaking about the facts of your illness. Jonah said “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jonah 2:8). Those physical facts are lying vanities. What the doctors said about your condition is a mere fact which is not consistent with the truth of God’s power. And when you observe these lies, you forsake your own mercy. God’s mercy is His healing power flowing in the direction of your condition.

It’s time to receive your healing. I command your body to be healed in the Name of Jesus! Receive healing power into your blood streams. That long standing blood disease disappears right now! You are healed in your bones and marrows! Eyes and ears are opened, you are free from that debilitating illness!

Lift up your hands and praise Him!
